This spot is amazing. Great new find. I'm not sure how other rate it lower than 4-5 stars. The portions are big, and you get a miso soup with a salad for below average price, that's unbeatable at this day and age. The food came really fast. There's only one waiter yet he managed to serve us politely and pack the food for the other tables and take other orders or pay bill. He's very efficient. More detail on the food: (if you're willing to read) I haven't had a good pancake like that in awhile. Not too much better and just the right amount of crispy with veggies. It wasn't too overcooked like some place and oily. The Katsu had more batter but still very crispy. But this is my preference bc I don't like batter and carbs, I can go protein all day. The karage has good amount of meat. A bit on the firmer side than the juicy soft but maybe it's the chicken breast rather than other parts of the chicken. The salad entré has great flavor with olives, tomatoes and greens. The miso was also great. I usually don't like the grainy dense texture but it didn't bother me and wasn't salty like some places. This is my first time trying the Okonomiyaki and it was amazing. It was filling. I wished it had more protein but again this is just me. There's good amount of sauce and full of veggies. Can't go wrong! I loved it, I was so full after that even though I shouldn't be eating like that on my cut. Sorry for not taking picture before devouring it!

This was an Uber order so I can’t comment on atmosphere or service. Food was very, very tasty but I have a creative criticism. Perhaps it’s due to the delivery packaging and transit time, but both the kimchi jeon and the okonomiyaki were beautiful on the outside but ‘wet’ on the inside. This gave the impression the food wasn’t cooked through although it definitely was. Maybe it’s the thickness of the item, but the same problem slightly affected the teokkochi so it might just be from steam being trapped in the boxes. I’d order again but in person next time to see the difference.

Fabulous spot for comfort food. Delicious and generous. We went a large group and the service was great, I recommend!

EDIT: At the owner's suggestion I requested the old version via uber eats and it was fully accommodated, 5 stars and a big thank you! Love your food The Pork Katsu used to be one of my favorite things to order anywhere but the new vegetables on the side really don't work for me. The greenbeans have their stems and the whole garlic cloves aren't super pleasant for me. Otherwise everything is always good and I'll continue to order, I just liked it before the menu changed more

The food was good. I liked the smokey flavor in the udon noodles. Only one person was serving so it was a bit slow but still friendly. Worth a try.

I love this place. My family and I come here often. But, regarding the new menu, I am not convinced about the changes. I miss the sundubu jjigae and the beef/seafood udon. Also, the salad with the ginger vinaigrette... I hope the restaurant brings them back soon !

Really enjoyed my meal here! My only complaint is that the dishes they use to serve the main meals are small and rectangular, which makes it almost impossible to eat without accidentally dropping some food on the table. Also my rice was served only warm and not hot. Aside from that the meal was delicious and the price was very reasonable. I ordered the bulgogi and it was so good! We also ordered two starters which were both tasty. We were happy with everything we ate. Would definitely come back and recommend it to others.
